The Line Between was a project for helping mentally ill employees do their jobs to the best of their abilities. It was designed to be an informational project that works close with employers to help mentally ill employees to get the most out of them and make sure they can be happy and stable, without fear of loosing their jobs.
The project was designed to be a freelance design agency that would help creatives with mental illness to build up their portfolio so they could progress into high end jobs in bigger design agencies. Pushing for better designers and creatives is something that we, here at Nott Studios, are always trying to help with as we aim to work with students to help creatives and developers gain experience in their early careers.
One of the main objectives of this project was to increase the awareness of mentally ill people in the workplace and get rid of the stigma that is around mentally ill people in which people think they will not be able to do a job as well as a non-mentally ill person. From working with The Line Between project we learnt how mentally ill people are able to create and design to the same standard, if not better than non-mentally ill people due to having other perspectives upon their work.
We built this project to be as quick and as scalable as possible. It’s aim was to be a one page website to advertise the Line Between, but it also had the potential to expand and become an informational website by adding multiple pages using a content management system.
