The best solution for this client was to use Shopify. It is a cloud based platform that can be run from any device with the internet connection, regardless of geographical location.
The client is often traveling to many gaming events around the world so we proposed to use of Shopify Point of Sale system.
This project was focusing mainly on creating a solid structure and clear instructions for the client to be able to navigate their website themselves in the near future.
All products migration from an old store required bespoke solution.

Leisure Games is also offering in-store-gaming sessions, so we linked the website with a calendar that helps people to see what event is happening and when. It is also allowing to book in store gaming slot using Google Calendar.

Back-in-Stock is an automatic, so once setup, it may be forgotten until further review. This app is also allowing collection of client emails to MailChimp for any marketing campaigns, newsletters and similar.
Reviews app – was proposed for product reviews.
Digital downloads – to help customers downloading all available files.

Style: The client wanted a minimalistic style. The most tricky part was to create look & feel that will be appealing to any member of a public but also not to forget about a regular customers – a professional game lovers. We used capital titles, fully redesigned footer and header from the originally chosen template so it is clear and visible on any screen size and suited for this brand.
Colours: We kept the website in calm colours. Using mainly blue from the Leisure Games logo and a few shades of gray to break the routine.
Images: We designed the favicon and taken most of store’s pictures that are placed on a few information pages. Client is using their own logo, product images & home page banners.

Originally the template was limited in tagging options. Embedded by us system helped the client to divide products using tags and eventually helping their customers with product search. Quick View of products was adjusted to the client’s needs and their branding. Check out page was customised. We created a few additional pages ie. Feedback page, Archive – for all previous products, a gift wrapping option and personalised order confirmation page so images of a purchased products are displayed.

By creating a written manual we helped the client to understand how to run store’s backend. From the date of accomplishing the project we started 3 months service support, advising and helping the client to fix bugs and all issues.

“I am very pleased with the wonderful job Nott Design Studios did on redesigning our web site. The work was carried out efficiently, communication was great throughout and they were always available to answer questions and solve problems. NDS are very friendly and easy to work with, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.” – Mike Berry
